(Senior) DevOps Engineer (w/m/d)

Deine Aufgaben
Als DevOps Engineer arbeitest du in unserem Plattform-Team (Kanban) an der FTAPI Secure Softwareplattform und deren Infrastruktur. Du wirst dafür sorgen, dass unser Produkt sicher, immer blitzschnell, ständig erreichbar sowie skalierbar ist.

  • Du bist für die Wartung sowie den Betrieb von Systemen verantwortlich und bist ein Wächter über die end-to-end Performance und Zuverlässigkeit der Systeme unserer Kunden
  • Du überwachst die Stabilität und Leistung unserer Website und behebst Probleme innerhalb des gesamten Stacks - Anwendungen, Dienste, Datenbanken und Netzwerk
  • Außerdem wirst du proaktiv die Entwicklungsprozesse überwachen, zur Risikominimierung beitragen sowie wiederkehrende Probleme beheben
  • Du bist ein/e Teamplayer/in, der/die Verantwortung übernehmen möchte und Aufgaben unter Druck und selbständig ausführen kann
  • Gemeinsam mit den Entwicklern arbeitest du an neuen Features und Hot-fixes
  • Du treibst die DevOps-Reife des gesamten Teams voran

Dein Profil
  • Neben Java-Programmierskills (min. 3 Jahre), verfügst du über Kenntnisse zu den Kernbibliotheken, Erfahrung in objektorientierter Analyse und Design patterns. Außerdem ist es für dich eine Selbstverständlichkeit eigene Unit-Tests zu schreiben
  • Du bist ein Experte für die Analyse und Fehlerbehebung in einer verwalteten Kubernetes-Umgebung
  • Du hast Erfahrung mit System Perfomance Tuning auf allen Ebenen (inkl. Java/JVM, SQL, Buffer Management, usw.)
  • Du bist erfahren im Bereich Continuous Delivery
  • In vorherigen Positionen konntest du bereits Erfahrung in einem agilen Umfeld sammeln
  • Du verfügst über ein starkes DevOps Mindset
  • Du hast starke empathische Skills und verfügst über die Fähigkeit, über Teamgrenzen hinaus mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern zusammenzuarbeiten. Außerdem teilst du gerne dein Wissen mit den Teams
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch oder Englisch

Deine Aufgaben
As a Site Reliability Engineer you are working on the FTAPI secure software platform and its infrastructure in a cross functional scrum (LeSS) team.
Your mission will be to ensure the product is secure, always blazing fast, available, and scalable.
As a successful candidate for this role you will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding and systems design, solid communication skills and a desire to tackle complex problems.
You’ll find this interesting if you're familiar with all aspects of running systems in a kubernetes environment reliably – knowhow in running a database cluster is a plus.

  • You will work in an engineering team to run and maintain systems and be a guardian of the end-to-end performance and reliability of our customers systems
  • You will monitor our site stability and performance and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack – application, services, databases and network
  • One of your tasks will be the pro-active monitoring and risk mitigation activities to ensure minimization of critical production issues and recurring problems
  • You are a team player who is able to take on responsibility and execute tasks independently under pressure in our production environment
  • You will collaborate with developers to bring new features along with Hot-fixes into production
  • As a SRE Engineer you will drive our team’s DevOps maturity

Dein Profil
  • You have Java programming skills (3+ years) and knowledge about its core libraries, good knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design patterns. Additionaly you are used to unit-test your code.
  • You are an expert in analyzing and troubleshooting in a managed Kubernetes environment
  • You have expertise with system performance tuning at all levels (including Java/JVM, SQL, buffer management, etc.)
  • You are experienced in Continuous Delivery
  • In previous jobs you alredy worked in an agile environment
  • You have a strong DevOps mindset
  • Your interpersonal skills are strong and you have the ability to collaborate across teams and skill levels. Furthermore you have the desire to sahre you knowhow
  • You are fluent in German or English
